choosing the perfect gown

When my daughter Kelly got engaged, still in college, we knew it would be two years before she would be married. We had all the time in the world to plan and shop. We would go into bridal shops wherever we traveled to. By the time she was ready to "commit" to the dress, we had been to 17 bridal shops in the state of Georgia. Yes, there are that many! We found beautiful gowns in every one that looked great on her, but we still had time, so we kept looking. Now, I'm not saying you have to look at that many dresses to know, but it actually was fun! She tried on all the different styles, necklines and sleeves, in beaded, lace and plain. It was when we came to that last salon, she found "the one". She knew by then what she didn't want and what style she was after. She walked out in her gown and it was perfect for her! The perfect line for her body, the right amount of lace that she wanted, she wore the dress and it made her look beautiful. I guess that's my point... all wedding dresses are beautiful, you have to find the one that fits you, your taste, your style, your personality, and you will feel like a beautiful bride!
below are 3 new top designer gowns, just a sample from their 2009 collections...
